Covent Garden Concerts

Freemasons’ Hall is a landmark building in London’s West End and we are thrilled to present performances in the opulent Grand Temple there.
Completed in 1933 and designed in the Art Deco style, the Hall was built as a memorial to peace, and covers almost a hectare of ground. The Grand Temple is entered through two magnificent bronze doors, each weighing over a ton, and the ceiling, some 19 metres above the floor, is covered in lavish mosaics depicting Masonic rituals and symbols. The interior is extensively gilded using gold leaf, the pipes of the mighty Willis organ being a particularly splendid feature.
Unsurprisingly, given the size and splendour of its spaces, Freemasons’ Hall is often used as a location for film and TV. The Crown, James Bond: Spectre, Agatha Christie’s Poirot and Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have all recorded sequences here, to name just a few. Look out for a few familiar features when you visit!
